Best Strokes - Hadassah Bares All for Awareness, Research & Treatment (formerly known as Breast Strokes), is a one-of-a-kind celebration of life honoring and demonstrating the strength of breast and ovarian cancer survivors. Sharing the most private and painful aspects of their fight, both female and male survivors reveal themselves in full torso body paintings that are photographed and placed onto beautiful canvases. This unique artwork is placed at Hadassah Greater Atlanta’s largest annual event, which raises money for breast and ovarian cancer and genetic research programs at Hadassah Medical Organization in Jerusalem, as well as breast and ovarian cancer awareness programs in the U.S.
At Breast Strokes, Hadassah Greater Atlanta will be honoring the stories and courageous battles of all of our models, as well as the work of two amazing physicians:
- Honoree: Dale Bearman, MD, of Atlanta's Northside Hospital and a beloved champion in promoting the risks of ovarian, breast and other women’s cancers.
- Honorary Chair: Tamar Peretz, MD, director of the Sharett Institute of Oncology at Hadassah Medical Organization in Jerusalem, Israel, and known for her cutting edge cancer and genetic research at Hadassah Hospital.
